    I think the guage from HF has a restrictor you can put in line, but you'll need either that, or the PLENUM spoken about in the tip to calm down the gauge needle, or it may bounce around too much to give you a steady reading. With the plenum, the response you see when you turn the carb synch screws will be slow. Also be sure to have a fan blowing across the engine. And, you may also want to have the battery jumped to a car battery because it doesn't put out much charging power at idle, and if the volts get too low, could cause the TCI to drop out...engine to die!

    • yeah I have seen that, thanks though for posting it. I was going to build one like that with one gauge then i thought 4 might be better but I have since changed my mind on buying 4 thx for the tips on the fan i wouldn't have thought about it.

        • yes sorry I forgot. I haven't ordered them it turns out mine are ok one was questionable but the others are in great shape. again if i keep the bike i might get these some time but i am going to wait on them.
