depends on the spring and check ball at the pump. The '79 I had would pump 50 lbs when cold, the '78 does 40 and the engine from the '79 special only does 30. It's the pressure required to push the ball against the spring and bypass back to the sump. I can be raised with washers under the spring. Of sourse it takes very little pressure to float a bearing.
