Answering questions about my chaindrive set-up. I have diven about 100 miles on it before I had to put her away for the winter. This unit bolts right on and takes a 13T or 14 T sprocket. Here I prefer the 13T as I have a 42T for the back....(PIC is of another member's Drive because I double check fitment before I mail one off)Perfect for my 200 tire's heighth.

battery
I relocated battery under cowl of the custom fiberglass seat/tail combo here. The electrics are still all to the right side in stock location because I just cut part of the stock battery box away and it bolts in the same frame locations with the monoshock traveling through it to a bracket welded to the frame beneath the tank....

1st Pic
In the first Pic above I moved the stock muffler hanger out the way temporarily to weld a 3/16 inch thick Parallelagram-Shaped piece to the frame before I notched it underneath. I did this to the bike without removing ANYTHING. Weld it to the frame First, Let cool then notch away.....Super Strong....This pic shows another bare frame that I did it to for reference
and here was my original photoshop idea....

Next set of PICS
My next PIC-SET will be with A complete Hayabusa front end installed which will lower the bike and hopefully don't have to grind on the kick-stand.....I can custom make a custom bearing ($75) for the top stem on the xs11 that will allow for many different Suzuki/ Kawasaki front ends to bolt right on that are Beefier and lighter.....JAT for the tweekers out there.MDRNF

Sweet!
Hey Chop,
I've been dieing to see what your new fiberglass tail piece looked like. It's gonna be sweet! You have made sure the Mad Mosquito is not the most custom XS in OKC. Great Job! We'll have to ride together this summer.

your ride
Hey audi, How is the suspension on your set-up. IIRC you had a linked suspension? I can now outrun my buddy on his V-max in the corners, this thing hugs the pavement so tightly that I will be raising the foot pegs some. I still was not used to the fact that I can gun it in the corners without feeling the rear slip from the driveshaft torque. I will be taking it out this weekend it looks like the cold weather is finally bowing out! I Hope....MDRNF

fiby glass
Hi Bubble, talk about time consuming, but worth it. It will attach with 1 bolt when all is said and done and comes off exposing all electrics/battery. We'll definitly go for a ride soon. I wish I had the time/patience to paint like you. For now my favorite color is FLAT BLACK. No need to polishMDRNF

Hey Chop, yeah my suspension is linked. It rides alot smoother than the cut springs they way i used to have it. It doesnt corner so well cause I am sitting so low that I drag my kickstand going around the most humble left turns, Turning to the right is much better but I do drag the peg occasionally. It does handle alot better though."Beware of any man that owns a pig farm"
