    the bottom bearing is the stock xs11 size!the top one I had made from a common 48mm one(spun down the otter race)...the triple tree bolted right in...smooth as butter. this will lower the front end by about 1.5 to 2 inches. the s/a extendeds by 2.5 inches should handle nicely....

      sounds awesome, where did you get the front end from? how much? are you using the busa wheel, brakes, speedo cable, and all that?

        busa parts are cheap

        got an entire front end for 500 bucks off the bay...i don't have the fender yet and may leave it bare....dunno yet. the busa swingarm is also a go on the xs11 frame, it is 9 1/8 inch wide at the pivot points and the shock as you know is ideal....

          When I was looking for a shock I was searching the Bay and then going to bikez.com to get specs to compare weight. Out of the 5 or 6 shocks I found in my price range the busa had the closest weight to the XS. Hense .....

              I actually have a R6 shock too. bought it cheap on ebay before checking the weight difference. Live and Learn
              I think I got the Busa shock w/linkages and hardware for 50 bucks. Not a bad deal as long as it works

                    Hey guys, I'd say coz of slight variations on individual bikes, it'd be best to leave the final positioning of the front sprocket until after the replacement rear end is set up.
