Good news y'all, I just spent about 45 minutes or an hour on the phone with Brant. He sounds good.

Telling me how to fix my bike issues and talking about getting the Venturer back out on the road.

Sounds just like his old ass self. Says he's still a little wobbly but getting there.

We'll be back up to see you Brant, maybe even next season if you're up to it. I really enjoyed seeing you and the country up there. It ain't Montana but pretty close.

Hope the ins. co. gives him a good payout...ST1100s are plentiful and not a whole lot of bucks...I constantly look for them and see lots of excellent deals for relatively little money....at this point though the focus is on getting Brant back on his feet...all the rest will fall into place...in due time..

Good thought Ben!.........but still havin the awsome Venturer, we're leanin' towards a side by side, like a CanAm or Polarious, that way SWMBO would go more often.

Two ****-cans in 4yrs. and 50plus yrs. riding with 30 of them being semi-professioal moto-cross has me rethinking the longgivity thing. Wife,Family and grown-up kids are WAY more important than two-wheel scoots. Although at 53 I did win the RMXA championship in Colo........apparently still had a little left to succed at that. Done with that for past ten yrs. so some rethinking in order. But remeber, I don't have what I used to...........but have what I used to at least one more time.. I'll just save that for dreamin' though. ..........Promise though that anyone wants to to come out this way for tour of the best mountain swisties state-side. Still got the Venturer for some fun leadership riding!

Both of those bikes Tod's/Greg's) gonna need some more get up and go(minute tunin'} if there gonna hang with my Venturer on a treee gear speed shift drag. I just say that caue Greg and I did a 15mph clutch rev drag and both were even.....me on the STeed. Having said that my odest son and I did a rolling drag a couple yrs. back with me on the Bently,him on the STeed.........well, up to topped out in third, he was getting REALLY tiny in my mirrows in my Venturer mirrows till we hit fourth at which time he caught up and finially got by the ole' Venturer.Venturer fully dressed and Tod pushin' 60lbs/ on me is likely difference........remember,torque gets the quick start first 69ft. and the horse power keeps that torque rollin'. But with Tods havin' the taller geared final drive was a definite disadvantage in that case, plus him havin' a good 60lb. disadvantage was his bikes demise. We'll just have to have a repeat sometime,........Venturer against XJ for the short haul. Your taller geared final in the XJ would be your demise. Having said all that, I still a great ridin' with you all.........everyone holding excellent space pacing and all, wold definitely repeating that again.........minus the white stuff....lol.

Dean R., a huge THANKS for your medical backround! From what I hear, you keeping me still till ambulace arrived definitely reduced additional injury! As you may know, surgury was post-poned for almost 2weeks as I was kept in an intensional coma due to heart attack prior to surgury. Actually wasn't supposed to come out other end of that either. We all start with 5valves feding heart, but I now have only two left doing the job!.........feel very fortunate to be able to banter and harrass on here again!

usually it is The heart has 4 valves: 2 in and 2 out The mitral valve and tricuspid valve, which control blood flow from the atria to the ventricles. The aortic valve and pulmonary valve, which control blood flow out of the ventricles.
I have a mechanical heart computer controlled and 14 V powered and the 2 valves on the R side of my heat work a little bit but not enough to give me a heart beat the left side neither work
that is the side my turbine pump is hooked up to so how does yours work ?

Not sure Hamjm, but I'm as onory and arrogant as I ever was. Hopefully that counts for something even tho I definitely have 'hitvh in my getalong' That dissapears once I've thrown a leg over a scoot though,,,,,,,well.....least a Swchin scooter.

Yes Brant, good to see you back on the board the past week or so. I rode the Can-Am Spyder when they were doing a test ride day at a dealership back in 2007 or 2008 trying to get deposits on them for the initial production run. That thing was a hoot, and just read where the 100,000th one rolled out the doors earlier this year. There is an in-line triple engine, new for this year, to go with the Rotax V-Twin they have been using from the start. They are showing up on the used market now as well. Traction control, ABS, stability control, and probably bladder control too!

We'd all gladly have you lead us Little Miss Muffets on a Colorado Rally next year on one of those Spyders!

As for XJOK's Connie, I have a ZRX that is just itching to see how a Connie looks in its rearview mirror in a straight line... Up until aero kicks in, then the ZRX is toast.
