Just a quick update and thanks for all your prayers!

The doctors are keeping Brant in a coma in the ICU because his brain was swelling. They planning to start surgery soon to start fixing some of the damage.

It's still way to early to know much except he's alive and kickin'!

Oops, I forgot about the ST site!

Marty, Brant's wife tried to tell me which hospital and room he's in and what was going on with the hit-and-run driver but her phone kept garbling and cutting in and out and I didn't want to ask her to say it again. I know, I know, imagine a hospital that messes up cellular signals! All I could understand was that he's in one of the hospitals in Grand Junction.

I have to believe he is at St. Mary's Hospital with the extent of his condition. Very good hospital.

              Thanks for the updates, Scott.

Sorry to see this, thoughts are with him and family, I'm sure he's in good hands and taking proper percautions with such severe brain trauma . Hoping for the best and full recovery.

Boy I hate reading a post like this, very upsetting to hear one of ours involved in an accident. Brant my prayers are with you for a fast and full recovery, both body and mind. May the medical professionals do their job well so you are home soon. (Bob, can Anita give an address for members to send cards?)

                            OH Man

Geez Brant, glad you survived the accident and wish you a speedy recovery. Been there myself and I know what a long road it's going to be. Stay strong my friend and best wishes to both you and your family.
We just lost three a couple days ago here. An eighty something pulled out to pass and hit three riders from the 1 CAV. (Canadian Army Vetrans) Killed two riders, third is critical and I just heard this morning that he also died last night.
                            PLEASE STAY SAFE OUT THERE!!!

                              Wishes for complete recovery!

This is certainly not the thing I ever wish to see when I log on in the morning to find out what everyone is doing. I do not know Brant personally, only through his many posts here.

I am praying for a swift and complete recovery for our XS!! Brother.
