    Missed this!

Glad you're (mostly) alright Harry! Good try on the save but catching a moving XS by sticking out your leg is kind'a like taking a selfie next to a moving train.

    Get well soon!

Ron that was funny. Made me laugh, then I felt so ashamed that I almost cried.

Hi Harry, How is your sense of humor? (Most of this is NOT funny ) Getting around? Limping? Walking good? Riding yet?

Wishing you well & strong. Let us know.

              Brent
PS I like to keep a side car for ocasions like this, so I han limp to bike, crawl on and ride. Waiting to ride is tough.

                Hey Brent,

Thanks. My sense of humor is just fine, thanks. lol. Still using the crutches but very close to getting rid of them for a cane or something. Next appointment with the Orthopedic Surgeon is on the 3rd, they will xray it again and make sure it is all good and I should get my walking papers. I am allowed to put weight on it now, just not full weight yet. The leg is rather weak and wobbly after not using it for so long.

As far as being able to ride, idk how long that will be. Have to be able to hold all of my weight as i swing my other leg over. Haven't tried that yet. Also, not sure how it would do yet being bent for an extended period of time. I can bend it just over a 90 degree angle so my range of motion isn't great, but it is getting better.

                  Hi Harry,
Good to hear you are making a good recovery. Keep at the exercise to get full mobility back. Before you ride you will need to be able to support yourself and the bike so don't be too hasty.

X rays look like an airport with all the pins and such. Good luck and just take it easy.Crutches are dangerous and I know you will be glad to get off of them.
                      Take care.

Hobbling around using a cane for the last few days. Soo much better than crutches. My entire leg is a little atrophied but that should get better fairly quickly. I was even able to swing my leg over the seat of my FJ and lift it up off the side stand easily. I was concerned that I couldn't bend my leg enough for the footpegs on it, but i can. Wouldn't want to ride all day at the moment, but just sitting on the bike put a smile on my face.
