Bob, glad to hear that you are ok, Thats some scary stuff, you went through.
    Thanks, Harry.
Still don't think I'd trade places with you!
Sure sorry to hear what you're going through, man.
    Hang in there.
I know personally how bad you wanna get out of that hospital and get home, but don't sweat it. Get all the help benefit you can from them, while you can.

I went over 24 hours w/o eating anything, and when they brought me breakfast, even though it was hospital food, it tasted sooo good.

I asked them if any patient had ever bragged on their hospital food before...
    They said, "no way..."
I told them, " please send my compliments to the chef...this is awesome!"
Amazing how your standards can change under certain circumstances!

Dang, Harry... Hate you got hurt man. Makes me hurt for ya.
    Heal fast, my friend.

Harry, Take it easy & heal well. Short story - Once I sprained my ankle & had too stay off it for about 3 weeks. I was given crutches. I thought "This is not so bad, I will use my good leg to hop around only slowing a little." The good leg was not used to that much effort, and became very sore from overwork. Then I WAS hurting...So
Take it easy & heal well.

I recieved some unsolicited advice to which I simply agreed. About 10 years ago, I did a low side slide & crash with my daughter on the back. Lucky in that there was not much damage & NO injuries. Daughter told me & I pass it on to you...

"Crashing is bad, Dad, don't do that anymore."

And we continued to ride, for a few more years anyway.

I'm tellin' ya, man... A peg-leg would have been way more bad-ass and probably taken less healing time.

I was going to say that all we could afford to get him would be a chicken like in the movie "Down Periscope".

But while searching Bing for "Down Periscope Images", I found this picture in the list for some reason, and suddenly it dawned on me what Harry could do to pass some time while bed-bound for so long.

It made me laugh.. and isn't that what it's really all about?? lol..

Apparently many didn't understand my last picture reference, as apparently there aren't more sick and twisted that have heard of the old Richard Gere farce involving a gerbil and a toilet paper tube... lol. I've heard the story since way back.. so thought it was more common knowledge.
