That's what I was thinking to Marty but I didn't want to go all Wild Kingdom on him.

Yeah, I know. Still waiting on word from the Doc on if I can go home. My bro-in-law rode it up into the back of his truck on ramps, said he didn't notice any problems with the brakes or any obvious problems with the tires. So IDK about the bike and what happened.

Made it home last night. Wiped out but doing better. Little things, like getting to the bathroom, are a pain in the ass, but will get better. Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers guys.

Thanks Jeff. I am healing up. Had some rough nights pain wise, but getting through it. The ribs seem to be healing even faster. Slight discomfort and at times, if I cough or move wrong, it hurts but that is usually just a temporary pain that takes you breath away for a min. They have me using a walker, not crutches. Just have to keep the one foot off the ground and sorta hop along behind it.

Have you had a chance to assess the damage to the bike?
Not trying to rub it in, but I managed to feel well enough yesterday to ride down to Talequah with a friend of mine.
Weather was near perfect, and it sure was beautiful down there.
Lots of colors from the dogwoods and redbuds.
Water was clear and flowing swiftly down the Illinois...
Some nice twisties around there, too.
FWIW, I thought about you during that ride, wished ya coulda been there, man.
Get well soon buddy.
