Pulled the head from my daughters 80LG and put a 79F head on it. So far so good. The LG has a spark plug frozen in it and valve seals were leaking, also found that the timing marks were off by one tooth.
I need to check valve clearances, finish putting everything back on and see how she runs. I will refurbish the 80LG head so that I have a backup and possibly put it back on someday.Ty

"Effing Bee" refers to a time when my wife asked me if I'd named my bike and I said I'd named it for her. I told her the name, and she looked at me for a couple seconds and then cracked up. Check my sig line for a hint."Time is the greatest teacher; unfortunately, it kills all of its students."

I was going for the family oriented paper explication route , I was a 'Bee subscriber too when I lived up in Oakhurst and its best feature at the time was that there was enough paper to start a fire in a fireplace and a wood stove. It was a great paper.
