Like the location of the saddle bags..very unique, would have never thought of that.
Kinda worked out good, that's what happens when you don't have side covers...
Some make 'em, most just make payments on 'em! 1978 XS 1100E

That seat really fits nice. I had looked at them, but they were so wide I never would have thought it would look right. Good work!
Thanks, some slight modification on the underside and had to flaten out the back a little bit. Very comfy...

I do like a bit of chrome too... pretty much any chrome that was in decent shape stayed on the bike but if it was rusty and beat up it got painted. As for the seat, I was hoping to do some black stitching on it, to tie it in with the black a bit better, but it never really happened. I might recover it with a bit nicer material next winter.
Pics might be random to you - but that bike is fantastic. Looks new from my eyes. Great stuff thx for the pics - Dan

Thanks for the compliment Dan. I do love the bike. took those pics and submitted them for the 2012 calendar. It still needs some work but it is getting there.
Here's a couple of Daffodil, now that she's done. She's running great, but I may have to sell her. I'm getting a bike for my wife, I really don't want to get rid of my GSX650F, (it's a fantastic all rounder), and I can't keep 3 bikes licensed and insured. I may just drop the insurance, pull the plates and park her in the corner of my shop for a few years.
