                        • Thanks Phil!

It was great gettin out in the warm weather today! First ride on it where I did not get off lookin for frost bite on my fingers and chin. It has a few chips in the tank from a mishap while I was workin on it. two 80 pound dogs rompin aroud while tank was on saw horses. Tank no longer on saw horses. Fortunately no dents, it must have landed on them. So, incentive to consider ghost flames and maybe a cool graphic in the center. Something to think about when the cold returns in a few days. If it turns out as well as the emblems I would be VERY happy.

                          • Special

Yep.. I agree with BIKERHIL.. Nice ride!!. I used to have a 79 Special that I sold to a friend. I am currently trying to buy it back but I am not having much luck.. It's a shame because it is sitting outside about 2 blocks from my home, in the open, under a ratty tarp along with another Special someone gave him . I'm going to keep bugging him though!!

                              • Hey Bill,

My plan is to have the ghost flames in the same kinda blue as the helmet...maybe...just a thought for now. May ride sounds good to me. I rode out to Autozone by you, then Michaels, and HD to try to find 1/8" painting tape, no can do. Still need to get my carbs worked out though, got a low end studder or miss, noticable stumble anyway. Time will get that though.

Shoot, I think I am out of town almost as much as you the next ten days. Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, and maybe WV.

If you dont stop by before then, have a GREAT trip and a safe one!!
