The Ventures were plagued with 2nd gear issues too. I don't think this one had it. It shifts beautifully. It is one smooth comfortable ride. And.....the greatest and most wisest option to this bike is SWAMBO luvs the passenger seat!
Ok i have to ask....What the hell does "SWAMBO" stand for? I've been seeing it a bunch on here but never knew what it meant. From what i gather it has something to do with the wife or the girlfriend or the old lady of some kind? Anyone want to enlighten me on this?
Yes it's a damn nice bike, yes it's in REALLY good condition, yes it would be a shame to chop it, BUT damn how cool would it look with ape hangers?
