Is '80 when they started using the 85mph speedo on these Elevens? I know that Honda started in '80 with lame ass 85mph speedo. That's what mine has on it.

How is the 4:1 pipes for ground clearance with things like the curb, and speedbumps?

I usually don't go over either of those so i can't really say,but that exhaust is coming off. i have a set of Jardine spaghetti exhaust 4-2 on the way right now.

My 82 XJ1100. Will look different in the spring. In for paint now and will have new exhaust in a couple weeks too.

There are some fantastic looking bikes here. Mine is a stock SG but I plan to make some slight modifications. I have the 160mph speedo, also a fairing and hard bags that I just need to repaint.





Not sure why the grass looks funny, must have to do with settings on camera.

Hi James, the stainless and chrome mix shouldn't be too obvious if the stainless is polished pretty well. I lost my original joint cover and replaced it with a bit of trimmed 316 tube. Doesn't look too out of place?
