Hi Garth, He's a Mastiff cross wolfhound cross bull cross, cross, cross, cross etc. Not a huge fella compared to the pure mastiffs but he's got an awesome temperament which makes it that much more enjoyable to have him around. He's just part of the family. Biggest hassle was modifying the doggy door to accomadate him as he grew to the point where just the size of the door alone would be a deterrent for would be thieves.
Clean up isn't a problem with him at all as he's got 17 acres to run around on and he's very discreet when doing the business and bolts off down the back paddock when the need arises.Leave a comment:

Yep, I sure hope so, lol. I've done the side covers and bags already, kinda like the black with the Ford blue. Here's what she used to look like, 2 different reds and dk. blue, yuk...

I cut a little off the pan to fit the tank better, mounted a bar to fit the frame hole, drilled the fender and bolted it down. The seat will flex to fit but hold it down with your hand as you tighten the bolt. The fender will bend and mark if you're not careful. Some of the harley seats like this one have threaded holes that you can anchor with a screw and some u brackets around the cross bar on the frame. It's really odd how they seem to fall right at the spot the needed to.
This was the Dyna solo seat on the 79 special black bobber.

Got my seat done
Here is a side shot - I'm adding more to my build thread but I like the saddle brown ultraleather alot better than the black vinyl stock cover - this blends...

Hey XS11 lover, how did you anchor the seat down, so it didn't move?Leave a comment:

I washed mine, finally!

Took a while to get the accumulated bugs and grime off but it came up nice!

I then activated my bike's anti theft system.Leave a comment:

It was from a 883 sportster. Notice the front is more square than triangle shaped. I picked up one that kind of came up to a point (triangle) and it didn't work very well at all. Pick your seat wisely....it may not work.
You have to cut out some of the front of the pan.

see what I'm talking about. The point. I messed with that one for a while, it never did work.Leave a comment:
