OK, well I'm puting a new stereo in the camper so I'll have tunes to break the monotteney(didn't spell that right I'm sure). If you see me, I'll be in a 22ft Winnie with a Yellow/Black BMW K1200s behind. Otherwise see you there.

Looks like I'll be there with the motorhome. That means I've got a stove and small frig for food/cooking. My brother will be meeting us there from Santa Clarita and.....psycoreefer, I can haul you and your bike if you'd rather. Leave Fri. morning & back Sun afternoon/evening.

Thanks, but I'm going to pass, my plan right now is to work half a day and then take off sometime around 12ish on the bike. Looks like I may be w/o family after all. To be honest I've got such poor planning skills, and SWMBO changes her mind so frequently that there is no way I'll know what the hell I'm doing before Friday morning.... .....and even then things are subject to change without notice. Just know that if you see a guy on an 11 come up behind you and lay on the horn its a friendly kinda honk....

Hi Planedick,,,,,we, the San Diego folks, are heading up the 5 early in the morn on friday,,,,picking up Scott, 3Phase, from Ventura, and going North to the 58 west by Buttonwillow to the rally in Santa Margarita. If you can make it friday to ride up with that would be great, we will follow in your vacuum. I am guessing around 8am to be going by Yorba Linda,,,so if that works let me or Scott or Garth know,,,see you, Mike in Valley Center

Do you guys from SD area have any plans yet for the route north? I figure I gotta be on your way. I could meet most anywhere here anyway (or just let me know when you go by Bakersfield and I'll catch up LOL). Looking on the map I'm about halfway between SD and Santa Margarita, so you might be ready for a little break anyway.

Maybe next year you can make it, Pat. I know what you mean about registration and insurance. I got whacked last month and it added up too fast for any fun. Make sure you non-op the bikes at the DMV or it'll be completely insane trying to register them. You might be better off personally hauling our Governator's stuff back home when he leaves Sacratomato than trying to register a couple of bikes with late fees and penalties.

Not attending this year either.

Neither bike registered or insured (but running fine). Just got a seeding ticket with a hefty bail amount that I have to pay just to plead not guilty.
Maybe next time.

Not bringin' the ST this year or I'd play a little. Know the Beemer you got, so that would be behind U playin'......but could of been fun anyways. Gonna have the rockin' chair Venturer so have to have to keep it reined in. Felt a bit out of place ridin the ST knowing a twist of the right hand would run away from the XS's last year.....plus when I got there seein' all the varieties of XS's wishin I had rode mine.

I had the same feeling riding to XSEast in '08 on my ST1100...After seeing all the yammies i had to get mine back into running form for the next year...which I did...but athis year its back to the ST for the LD riding...I'm spoiled by the ST...but when I see all those XSs' and XJs'...I'm gonna wish I had mine there...
