There are several dining options in Townsend, but the bikes will be easiest to find parked at Little River Barbecue. This is where you will find the river tubes.
I'm sorry for causing this confusion as I miscommunicated it to Jeff.Marty (in Mississippi)

Yep, that's the one.
Big sign that says: "FOOD ON THE RIVER"
Heck with the name of the place. Just look for for the BBQ / Food on the River. Bunch of parked XS-XJ's a good hint too!
Address is the same 8303 Hwy 73
Actually this was Smoking Joes' and the "Little River" sign on the roof is new. Rest of the signage is the same. Maybe different lessee or just re-branded at this location.
Guess we can find out next Sunday. For me, when I see a big sign that says FOOD along with BBQ that's all I need.

Getting my **** together so i can take it on the road
Yesterday the wheels were still off and one brakepad kept falling out.
all together now with new tire on the rear and new pads on the rear too.
Good thing I checked before reassembly.
looking forward to seeing everyone soon. Pouring with rain so no test ride to day. More checks and putting parts back on.

Heather and I left Calgary Thursday late afternoon and made it to Glacier Park Village Montana after dark, coyote's and cows on the road, more twists than the Dragon.
From Glacier to Livingston MT on Friday. Beautiful views and ride, mostly on the 89.
However, the front wheel starting make a grinding noise as we approached Livingston.
Thought it was a brake pad or caliper issue. Friday evening, took apart brakes and checked everything, short ride and all seemed ok. Saturday morning 30 miles towards Yellowstone, the grinding started up again. Shot wheel bearing. Made it back to Livingston. No local dealers open on Saturday or Sunday. Bozeman dealer had a bearing B6004 that the parts fiche references, but No car rentals in Livingston. Was able to get a U-Haul truck to get to Bozeman. Picked up the bearing.
Took an hour and a newly purchased scissor lift to lift the bike so the wheel could be removed, took 4 hours to beat and dremil the damaged bearing out of the wheel. A pile of metal filings and short a few balls.
It was a NSK 60/22 and is bigger than the B6004 and it was after 6:00pm Saturday in Livingston.
Nothing in Livingston is open on Sundays.
Googled and found a few Yamaha dealers in Bozeman and Livingston open on Monday, most closed on Mondays.
Hoping for a next day parts shipment to one of them for Tuesday. If this happens will be back on the road to Iron Horse Wednesday morning.

Hey Ted. Sorry to hear about your bike issues.
Your in my old stomping grounds around there. I'm from Billings. Be careful in Livingston on a Saturday night, it can be a pretty rough town. Enough that there's a song about it. And yes, the wind pretty much ALWAYS blows there that's why there's wind generators all over the place.
I hope your planning on keeping to 89 and heading south down into Yellowstone Park. Beautiful country around there.
See you at Iron Horse.Greg

Wow sounds like an adventure!! Not really a good adventure, though! Some auto parts places have a few bearings, especially NAPA, they may be open on a Sunday....or able to get parts overnight from local warehouse or other store. (Most big name auto parts places can do this) Be sure to try these as well. Maybe Grainger or another big supplier has a local office in Bozeman. If there is a tractor or heavy equipment repair place near by they may have something right on the shelf. Good Luck see you guys this weekend.

Thanks for the thoughts,
I have visited the auto places and called around. Its a Yamaha thing, its an odd size bearing NSK 60/22DU or KML 60/22-2RD, the part is listed at a few motorcycle online sellers, but worried it would not arrive next day.
There is a chance that one of the motorcycle dealers closed on the weekend in Bozeman or Billings will have them in stock or can get next day parts.
Renting a car today and we will tour Yellowstone and at least be mobile if I can find the bearings in Bozeman or Billings on Monday

Crud.. I thought I had a set I could overnight you. Sorry. Oklahoma City has the only US Post Office out at the airport that is open 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.
I know it sucks right now, but honestly, this will be the trip that you remember. And yes, it will be fondly. Last year sitting on the ground at a truck stop all day long, tearing the whole rear end out of my bike and filing new grooves in my u-joint yolk.. seems funny now. Greg blowing out a front tire on the way there sucked... but it's funny now. OK. .it was a little bit funny to me when it happened.. lol
Hang in there. You'll make it.Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.
