it was a great ride. my total mileage was 2,041. on the xs11g. saturday was a total wash out. we rode sunday 9:15 til dark. monday rode most of the day, had a late lunch then i had to head home. staying the extra day was worth it. it was a smaller group, gary said a slower pace but we rode a lot of roads. got to ride with two new guys , chris with his 79 xs11 and jesse with his ninja 250..... some more pics...

We made it as far as Newnan GA. We had quite a couple days....
We watched the sun rise from west of the Mississippi river, then went to the USS Alabama Battleship Park, next on to Pensacola and the Gulf Islands National Seashore and Fort Pickens to put our feet in the Gulf of Mexico, then on to the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic site. We should be back in Suches early Monday, most likely in the rain. A few pictures....
