Well,

Today has been a total wash out as far as bike riding in concerned!!

As folks have seen, there have been many drop outs, but we still have a decent contention of riders. Tomorrow is forecast for 75 degrees and sunshine ALL DAY! So we expect to be able to get many hours and hundreds of miles worth of twisty riding in!!! Here are a few photos to show what's happening/not happening!

Great time, even though too short of time!

Hey folks,

First, just an FYI letting folks know I made it back home to Virginia safely. My total mileage in the cage was 1900 miles, plus 277 for the 1 day run on the bike, about only 70 or so were highway, the other 200 were twisties!

Again, thanks to Gary and Bruce for hosting this informal "XS11" aka VJMC rally, laying out the routes, guiding us with the GPS and ensuring that we didnt' get lost via Bruce and the Helmet radio communication system.

Hey Brent, yeah, I saw you blazing your way back up US 129 this morning, saw you coming and said, hey that looks like Brent in that white half helmet, and Swoosh, you were past and gone! Don't know if you noticed me or Godzilla on the trailer on our way home??

We encountered an occasional roadway obstruction due to the heavy rains, just a bit bigger than the usual roadkill!

Jesse, Yamahansolo's riding buddy was a bit dizzy after that last run thru the twisties!!

This one's for TOD to show that I, too, like to use the whole tire!


Had a few technical difficulties with my bike securing straps!

Home from suches

i miss you guys already! i wish i was off tonight so i could ride!!

I am home from another great ride over twisting roads beside rivers & lakes, through gaps & passes in mountains, and along withy some great XSives. I did do some riding Saturday in cigar extinguishing rain. Bike protested by rinning poorly. Sunday & Monday = much better. It is so good when it is hitting on all 4 cylinders regularly.
