Yah, 1330 is a long day on a motorcycle.

I frequently run from Dallas to Onalaska, WI in a single run...1100 miles...usually about 16 hours pushing it hard.

Couple days of that and I don't think you'd have much fun at the rally....

Its Bandera day!!!! Last night, finished the bike, all cleaned and shined, new stereo installed, life was good. Figured I would go get some gas. Tried to back out of the garage and the bike was real hard to move. Found both front calipers hanging up!!!! Unscheduled caliper rebuild @ 11:00 pm. Got it fixed but am gonna get kits and do all calipers and master cylinders. See ya'll this afternoon!!!!!

                  Home Again

Well TeXSives I would just like to send a big thank you to all who attended the rally. You are a great bunch of riders and I hope to ride with all of you again soon.

Hope everyone made it home safely.

Keep a lookout for info on the 2006 Spring TeXSive rally in April.

I started a Hill Country Rally Photos Page thread so everyone can post thier pict or links to your picts page.

My picts and ride report coming soon.

                    Ditto, Wayne

I had a great time with you folks. 858 miles logged and some of the best technical riding I've ever done! From freezing cold rain on Friday, to break-neck speeds on my XS, I have registered some more great memories of the TeXSives.

I look forward to the next TeXSive ride.

Although I mounted a camera on the handle bars, most of the images are blurry. I guess the engine vibrations were too much. I will still post the best pics for you folks to have and look at. Most of the pics of each individual rider look OK, though.

I'll work on a better mount for the next trip.

The nickel trick on the Valk looks pretty cool, though!

Once again I had a blast!!!
GREAT people, most excellent roads, and awsome weather!!!
MAN!!! It just does not get any better!

Once again Wayne your route selection was impeccable!
Thanks for all your hard work bringing this together.

I know I speak for all the others when I say that we were having so much fun and then all to soon it ended.

Good wishes for Hippy Dave to find a simple fix to get his most AWSOME XS11 standard back on the road.

It's a shame we all are not filthy rich and could stay as long as we wanted...

Can't wait till the Spring ride and next Fall as well!!!

                      Ride Safe everyone!!!
