I like that "Bigfoot Sensory Deprivation Fund". Wonder if I can set that up as a not-for-profit organization.

Normally it would sound like a plan... but I will be out of town for a couple days before this and will be coming in from the east. Sorry. Hope to still see you there though.

Geez, first thought I would hafta blow this one off to but now I thinkin I could pull this off. 435 miles aint so bad for a day ride. October should have tolerable weather, still have vacation time stashed, SWMBO gave me that "look" when I asked if she wanted to clear about 1500 miles in a few days so I translated that into "you go if you want dear, I will stay home". Yeah, I am gonna start putting this thing together. I need someone with a Special to ride with so I am assured of stopping every 100 miles. Skippy would most likely bring his luxo barge so he's out. I could cruise up to Ft. Worth and draft John and Kat, yea, thats a plan.

Well... you could do that... but as soon as we saw that you might head up this way... we made plans to go another direction...

Actually... we're taking advantage of John's time off and heading out to see a friend before the ride... So we won't be in town... well... as things are planned at this point... subject to change at a moment's notice...

We can hook up for the ride home on Sunday though... maybe?

Things are looking good on this end for me going. SWMBO seems to be agreeable at this point. No decision on whether she is coming with me or not. Looking forward to some good riding, good company, and some cold drinks.

I would say that you left the best one out Bigfoot. My charming personality all the way to Talihina from KC. How could anyone not appreciate that? Beside Tod. That goes without saying.

Have no problem with the "charming personality". That's gonna take quite awhile to get there with you having to stop every 30 minutes for a 20 minute pit stop. I would blame it on Steph but she was always ready to go long before you were.

Just joking man, looking forward to the trip.

                                Hey all!

The weekend of the 11th - 12th has opened up, so looks like I'm in for the rally. Can't wait to see you all again. Does anyone know if there are any more rooms available at Kiamichi? I will take whatever I can get, smoking or whatever. I guess I will call them and get reservations this weekend. Anyway looking forward to seeing you all, and to the great roads. Man this is like going to Disneyland for me.
