    Ok... I'm sorry.
's late, I'm overtired and have had no one to pick on all day.

Well now, what the heck was I thinking! With their numbers, there's gotta be way more Dennys' there than up in the cold frozen north. Bet you don't have as many White Spots and Tim Horton's, though, eh?

And, talking about Canadian Bacon, who ever came up with that name? I ordered some Canadian Bacon with my breakfast one day in Vegas and believe me, it was nothing like I've ever seen when I order bacon with my breakfast here in Canada. Don't get me started on beer...

Sure, Jason, we'll book you some tent space. Might have to up the estimate for cool refreshments too, maybe some sort of minikeg with a pump, eh?

Hey Ken, how's thing over there? I'm doing lots of Internet broadcasts this summer (nightly) with some breaks here and there. The lucky thing is I do have a break during your rally dates! Would love to make it down there and visit with everyone and go for those rides...

You can slot me and my tent in for a spot in your yard. If something changes and I can't make it I will let you know.

Hi Ken, no I haven't heard from any new members but then I haven't visited in this board for a long time...

Perhaps I should contact that member, would give me someone to ride down there with.

                      Thanks

                        Hi Ken and Sheila,
I plan to be in Radium August 4 to 6 with the Venture Group and would like to continue on into Revelstoke after that.
Ken, can you send me a list of the Motels/Hotels that are close by within a 5 minute walk from your place.
I will be hoteling in Radium and do not want to pack my tent for Revelstoke.
I know that the Best Western is right around the corner from you but would like to find something a little cheaper. My maps of Revelstoke do not show address' very well and I can not tell which ones are close to you.
Looking forward to seeing people I have met before and new members I have not met.
You can e-mail privately if you wish.

                            Thanks for the reply Ken,
Now are the motels downtown E, F, G, & H with in walking distance from your place? If so how long 10 minutes?
Sorry to be such a nuisance.

I'm not sure what happened to the map, Don, but if you look close you can see a 500' scale bar in the lower left corner. From our house to the further hotel, and probably the most 'reasonable' of the bunch, would be well less than 10 minutes. Of course, that would depend on whether or not one might have partaken in some of the local microbew product and might in fact be walking a sort of a zig-zag pattern back to the motel of choice. Then it might actually take as much as 10 minutes to get to Motel F. Of course, there's also the option of 'first come first served' if you could survive with a bit of carpeted or plain flooring in various parts of the house andf basement and wanted to bring along just a sleeping bag. Heck, if you're not fussy, we've even got a couple of cheap sleeping bags and 'foamies' you or another traveller could use with aforesaid piece of floor space. That would give you the option of floating a few bucks towards the local micro-brew instead of the local hotel/motel industry.

                                Ken,
If I had looked at the map closer I would have seen that.
Any way I have booked the Monashee Lodge and will probably arrive mid afternoon on Monday.
Thanks for the offer of floor space but this way I will have space to spawl out on my own.
I was concerned about being able to walk in a straight line after testing out the local 'pops'. Actually a short walk may be a blessing to clear my head.
I will also be more than happy to contribute to the local economy in that respect as well.
                                See you on the 7th
