    Memorial Day Weekend Rally

Marty, I'd be more than happy to do some scouting again. Email me some routes and when the weather permits I'll check them out. Speaking of the weather; I won't be doing any scouting anytime soon.
I'll be reserving a room sometime in the near future and will post the room number.
As for a rally name, I thought that since we would be riding in three different states one might call it the Tri-state Rally, or maybe the Tri-state Twister Rally. Another idea I had was Magic in the Mountains Rally, Heaven in the Hills Rally, ------- you get the idea.
It's great hearing from everybody again; and I'm looking forward to another great XS Rally ---- --- --- whatever the name may be!
    I'll see everyone there!
    Ride Safe,
    Greg C.

I like both - "Heaven in the Hills" and "Magic in the Mountains"

      "Heaven in the Hills"
The Annual XS-XJ Eastern Owners Association Rally
      Memorial Day 2006
      Pineville, WV

      Something like that.

BUT, we have some time, any other cool name suggestions.

          Hi Marty,
Happy to report the Ontario crew had our first planning meeting on Saturday after our visit to the Toronto Bike Show.
Proud to inform you no one even mentioned a trailer.
We are all inclined towards the scenic route down 219.
HamJam Tom Lennert and Phil commited Ron claims not ready to commit but I doubt he will be able to resist.

We have done three of those on the "in America" website. We did part of the first one in 04, and that Rt 20 Webster Springs was part of one of last years routes.

If you click on Russ's second post, we will be mostly in the New River - Greenbrier section, in the southers part of the state. I have the New River Gorge on one of the rides, and 5 other routes picked out. One goes into VA and KY, another one goes down to that Rt 16 in VA and back. So we'll have some more discussions about routes and sights later.

                      Rt 16

Last year we dodged fist size rocks on RT 16 in the vicinity of Hungry Mother State Park. I enjoyed using the road to get to Beckley, but roads in the New River Gorge are more scenic and more fun to ride for their "twisty" value.

Perhaps Brent will chime in as we travelled together last year.
