    Thanks Ben
This year I will have to rush home after XSEast. So many great roads between our two homes hopefully we can ride some of them in the not too distant future.

VT is just the next state over yet I hate to admit I know nothing about the routes. Soooo, voting in the blind, I went with 1 and 3 but I really don't care. Whatever routes are chosen are fine with me.

Well I voted so it can't be me....

Yes I know I did the unthinkable.... I voted in the first place.

Now? Did you want me to vote again to break it?

Looking like #1 and #2 are leading. There is a very good chance that i can get up there to run the routes on valentines / presidents day weekend ( no comments from the peanut gallery, please). I'm finalizing the details now. If it works out, I'll run the routes that are in the lead at that time and if they're viable, we'll go with those.

                Fair enough?

So you are going to take some time off Mr. Workaholic?

Funny the only route 100% in VT is not going to survive the vote.

                  Go for it man!

What time off? President's day is the only monday off before Memorial day! That is funny about the route, but it IS the mis-guided tour, you know!

Rt 100 is a pretty road it takes you from southern VT to Mt Snow and continues North to Killington and a ways beyond that too. Been up there skiing obviously but never in the spring or summer on a bike.Whatever we do...it'll all be good thats for sure.

                            Not 1

Ok I'm a long shot to make but really do for used to know area well grew up in SE Mass and lived in Newfane Vt and Jamica VT. Now work for truck company and still send trucks up that way once in a while the mohawk trail is NOT what it used to be large part highway and no small town feel to it and that was 10 years ago not near as much fun as to be had on Vt and NH backroads. If you want to extend the NH side trty and add the Kank up towards tourist central around North Conway just remeber the hard thing is to east west in these states North South easier and has much bigger roads. Western Mass can be beautiful but need to pick your spots. Good luck and with luck of lottery maybe I will get there.

                              Hi fiddlefoot!
Thanks for the input. I was part of a small group that did the Kancamagus Highway last summer (look here:
http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18955 ) on our way back from Canada. Unfortunately it is just too far from our starting point in Brattleboro. Most of that day would be driving up to it then we would have to return when we got there.

Yes it was a bit crowded, and I know Mass is a crowded state and the Mohawk trail is more "modern" that it was 20 years ago. It would be a little different from some of the recent few rallies we have had in rural NY and WV. I understand that some of the attendees have not been to Mass so that route would allow them to collect Mass.

Personally I am hoping for #2 and #3 to win, but we'll see at the end of Feb.
