Memorial Weekend 09 is May 22, 23, 24, 25 Friday - Monday. Friday is usually just arrivals and bull sessions. Rides on Sat and Sun, home on Monday. Just like 08.
Meet up with some old friends ( I mean this as friends I have known for a while)and meet some new.
Tell some stories in the parking lot.
Drink the odd beer.
Ride some roads.

Ah I see the Usual Suspects aka Old Friends are on the thread already.
Mapquest says less than 500 miles from my house. Fastest is via Buffalo and the Superslab Shortest without tolls is via Kingston & the Wolf Island Ferry one of my favourite rides.
I love it when a plan forms.

Ok you know I'm coming to thisI'm just not sure which Yamaha is gonna make the show...but one of 'em will for sure My route would be approx 326 miles and would take the Taconic pkwy thru NY most of the way...gotta love roads without trucks
Ben,I would assume you'd be going up on the Friday? If so, we can connect soemwhere north of NYC. The Taconic is a beautiful road, scenic and twisty, but fast like a superslab.

You bet buddy!...I'd be going up on Fri a.m.I love the Taconic...I'll plan some other routes from the end of the Taconic that should keep the slabs to a minimum. We might have to do a stretch of I-90 but not too far....then hit rt 7 north I think..well there plenty of time to get this sorted out...might as well have a great ride to Brattleboro...I can do slabs but they really are no fun...kinda zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz if ya know whadda i meana
The "old" thread had a place and name of a hotel, could that info be re-posted?
Patience Jerry,
The town is Brattleboro Vermont.
Randy, our fearless organizer, is still sorting out the place to stay.
As Russ says Most of a plan has formed.
