I'm home
What a great 2 days I had ...the reason I did not meet you before the pizza place was because I left for CT on Fri and never saw that post....but after riding thru the street festival in Mystic...we knew you all had gone to Mystic 2.My buddy Todd is an excellent rider and he put me up at his home in Hebron. Our 2 hour meander to Mystic was fantastic...as always I love the country roads in CT....never straight for very long....
What a fine bunch of folks I met today...and what a pleasure too...my only complaint...we didnt spend enough time together!
After Russ split from Earl and myself we headed back to NY via I84...it was a great ride and was totally uneventful. At I-84 and I-87 Earl and I split...hr continured on 84 and I headed south to NJ...the rest of the trip was fast as I averaged 80 mph on the last leg.My total 2 day mileage came to 635 miles. Not bad for a pizza run...there were 10 bikes and 11 ppl great turnout!
I have to echo earlier sentiments..Carolyn you are a very pretty lady both inside and outside.Looking forward to meeting you and everyone else again soon...and hopefully you'll be riding your own ride.....Bob...great tour TYVM...loved all the backroads.
Earl great riding with you..that '80 XS is a good runner too!1980 XS650G Special-Two

You guys!...
I won't be in trouble...no worries.
I can't wait for the next time!
Thank you all for being so nice, and making me feel so welcome! I had a wonderful day!
John may come one of these days. Once I start taking off, he's bound to get curious and tag along. I told him he would've had fun and that he really missed out on a great time and great company.
Oh, well...if he doesn't come along, his loss. Maybe he's afraid he won't be able to keep up, LOL!!! Either that or that pretty seat on his bike won't be so pretty to his backside after the first 50 miles!!
I gained a whole new appreciation of these bikes yesterday, and like I told Randy when we parted ways, Harleys are horribly inadequate in a lot of ways. They're pretty, but I'm more of a 'substance' kind of person these days. Maturity taking hold? Hmmm...could be.
Yes...it was a VERY good day!80 XS1100G w/ Windjammer-the Witch

Sure wish these pics could automagically grow smaller, scrolling sideways is a pain....folks, try to resize your photos to 640x480 to avoid the scrolling. OTOH, many thanks for sharing all these pics, although it's too bad you got that big horse with the hat and glasses in there so many times!
Anyway, sounds like we're all wanting more....how about a get-together sometime in mid to late September? Maybe meet up at the Quabbin Reservoir in central MA, or in northwest CT Berkshires, or around Great Barrington in the western MA Berkshires?
Just some thoughts....BobE
