Sally and I are in the Value Inn. This is a one story motel with parking in front of your room. Excellent. I asked the nice young lady to make a note that if anyone mentions being with a motorcycle gang and wanting to reserve that weekend to put us all together. That almost never works but worth a try. (She got REEAL excited when I mentioned motorcycle gang.)


Anyone east of me wanting to ride along is invited to spend the night in Kane, leave crack of dawn Friday. It is 587.6 miles from here, and we will be flying low...

And willing to meet up or catch up or whatever.

Tracy & I will get a room before the weekend done . I check the route once before an di think we'll get a head of you all and wait for you to find us. I'll try and remember where we stoed last year on the way to Indiana on the side route I took.

I'll be there, and headed out from the Baltimore area. wouldn't mind meeting up on the road somewhere, since i'll be by my lonesome (safety in numbers! lol) although i am REALLY looking forward to a looong drive, no cell phone, no work calls, etc etc.

i will be there friday, will be leaving from middletown ohio on friday and dont know if i am going to camp or just get a room at the hotel that everbody is going to stay at

I plan on going. Booked a reservation at the Value Inn last night. The night clerk never heard of a motorcycle group coming that weekend. He said that there were only three rooms book for that period out of 99 total rooms. I told him to put me by the ones that were booked. Don’t think he was too sharp. He couldn’t tell me what the price was and didn’t take a credit card number to make the reservation. Think I’ll call back there today and confirm the reservation and price.

I am booked at the Value Inn on 02/06/06. Also the clerk (woman) didn't seem to know about our group staying there. Called during the day time. But have confirmation number. They priced the room i got at $45.40 a night. Will see you there.
Will be riding my Purple Metallic XJ.

for those that will be racing. must have boots (over ankels) gloves leather jackets helmets . leather pants optional or required if running quicker than 12.99 . Tires must have some life also (no bologna skins). And a little common sence..lol we can work out the last part

I am KINDA thinking about going. KINDA promised Bob that I would meet up with him and ride over. I will check with Steve Cz. in Sioux Falls and see if he is interested in going along. Matter of fact there are several riders around the South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota border that I will contact when time permits. I will probley wait and get the 99th room!

Bob, are you going to act up with the young fellars or sit in the shade with Marty and I? Marty, you mentioned parts and that gets me excited. Any and all if you have some spare parts for a 79 xs11 special I am putting another one together and need many items, some small enough they could fit in a pocket or saddle bag???!!! How many have offically said YES I am coming? Can you post? thx

i dont consider myself OLD but i'm no young buck either. At 42 i can still take care of buisness,i know of a few racers in there 60's and above so eye of the beholder i guess. i don't plan on tearing mine up too bad still have to go for a spin on sun also. it is a pretty good legal rush though,XSpecialy against another XS-XJ in the other lane..,,Hey it is Brag and Drag for a reason.But i really just want to meet some of the fine people that make thesee bikes so great. If it wasn't for the following i might not even have gotten one to begin with. But sure glad i did.With the data,and knowledge on this site i don't even want another bike.7 months and counting woo hoo can't wait as far as parts i have a few things left from xj parts bike ,lots of odd bits foot pegs and brakets,assorted bolts and such,motor half diassembled...etc....etc.. let me know i will bring it with.
