Well I was hoping to make it Sunday for breakfast and meet everyone. However, after I figured out the logistics I will have to wait until next time to see your bright smiling faces in person. I figure that I would need to leave my house no later than 4am to be on time for an 8:00 meeting. As this is my only day to sleep in it is simply too much. I hope you guys have a blast, and I wil be there in spirit

Here is the room price. The only rooms available for both nights were the single bed rooms. Big event going on in PDC this weekend so many were already booked in June.
Would be great if you can make it.

I got a room reserved for friday 9-5-08. I believe they are all booked up for Saturday. One may become available, and it is possible that I 'could have misunderstood the guy on the phone. He did get my credit card number right though.

I am not sure if reservation guy ever did understand that I was with XS1100 group or not. He indicated that he had no rooms available for Saturday when I called. Maybe one will become available & I can get it, or perhaps I will bring sleeping bag & air mattress for floor in one of your rooms Saturday. I will check later.

I have been in contact with lakecountydave. He might meet with us for lunch on sunday. working out the details. I though mt.horeb is pretty close to the middle and a halfway small town. There is a spring garden resturaunt right on business 18 with gas next door. we can make asmall enjoyable ride to there then break off on our way home. Let me knw what you think.

I called to cancel the remaining rooms on hold and double check on rooms reserved.

Owner is gone till tomorrow and this Temporary Help has no better command of English language than the owner. You who have registered know what I am talking about.

They claimed after long time of looking to have found our block
of reserved rooms…..They think
Rooms are reserved for 5 people both nights……...They think
They are all single bed rooms…….They think
They had people listed as Arlan, Mattheau, Robert, Daniel, and Brand, (that must be you Brent) so they thought they had it right……They think.
They said all were for both nights……they think.

Yes, Cheese! Wife & daughter suggested that I carry an empty ice chest or cooler. It is packed.

Looks like about 1 ½ hours to Mt Horeb from PDC, ample room for some detours to “fun roads” and cheese stops. Oh ya.!
