    Thanks for the tire recommendation everyone. She’s back on the road now after many years of sitting. Put around 150 miles yesterday. My buddy took his MT10 out and the Xs11 kept up with ease. He was shocked by how well it rode even with a 43 year tech gap.

      Yeah, the first HD that could turn a 1/4 mile faster than a stock 1978 XS1100 was the V-rod, and Porsche designed the motor for that bike! If you REALLY want to have some fun with your buddy, tell him you both put the bikes in high gear at 40mph, and then give it throttle. when he catches up with you you can smile!
