Hi Tony. Where did you get the adjustable air valves described in your vacuum line post above?
All I have found are too small in an aquarium place.
    79 XS1100F.
    SuperTrapp 4-1 w/center stand.
    TC's fuse box.
    SOFA filter.
    Venture cam chain adjuster.
    Tkat fork brace.
    Progressive fork springs.

Hi mate, I used one of the air valve that came with my balancing gauges just as an experiment, I did see some on UK ebay though.
      I have these gauges.

        Thanks for the reply Tony.
Don't want to spend $ yet on a full set of synchros.
Mine are good but don't have the air valves and so they're real hard to read accurately.
Everything I've found is for smaller sized hose as in fish aquariums.

you can experiment with some sort of restriction in the hoses that might help !! a thin tube of some sort inside the hose will dampen the vacuum pulses. or small pilot jets.

Looking good Tony! When you change over to the standard forks, will you keep the lowers black? If so, have you considered black headlight ears to go along with that?

no mate, i like the shiny legs and chrome headlight brackets. I'm all for modifying bikes and done it to almost every bike ive owned !!!!! BUT i'm going for the standard look as much as I can, saying that it will be a modified bike as it started life as a 79 SF if I had plenty of cash i would go for a chain conversion with wider wheels and better forks, a bit like my GSX.

some small changes, painted the seat trims and polished the end of the engine covers, i think they look better polished. bike also running sweet now.
