If you would not buy a bike with dielectric grease used on it's electrical connections, I certainly will not tell you that I used it on the bike };-)

Say is 4-5 PM a good time call to catch you free and easy ?
Dielectric grease works alright for connectors and terminals if you're careful with it, my new bike has some connectors that are totally packed with the stuff and the lights still work. I bought a tube of Dow's finest space shuttle grease but it's messy, it attracts dirt, and there's no safe solvent for silicone to get it off of and out of places it's not supposed to be.

Krytox grease works for drive splines but its solvent is expensive and not good for children and other living things.

For battery terminals and grounds, copper anti-seize is good. Anti-seize is messy but it's easier to spot smudges right away without waiting for them to gather dust and they clean up with soap and water instead of getting a home HazMat permit.

Unless it's dry PTFE powder, the particles are mixed with an organic carrier base that can usually be removed with soap and water or a normal degreaser/solvent that takes the PTFE off along with the carrier.

NASCAR uses that Krytox grease for u-joints and it dropped the running temperature and the wear way, way, down.

Learned my lesson . took hours of cleaning to get rid of (most) of the damn dielectric grease. As already mentioned it attracts dust like crazy.
Might be a place for it somewhere...but not on my bike.
WD 40 and a small paint brush with paper towels. Then contact cleaner.
