Good news friends and family ... I dumped a **** ton of mmo in that cylinder and let it sit for a few days..... boom 150 psi ... now on to installing this back tire .... this grommet on the rear caliper brace is mangled so I need to replace it but it seems to be obsolete.... 1J7-25374-00-00 SPACER,TORQ.STOP. ..... also how tight do I need to put the rear axlenut on there is no way I can get a torque wrench on it with the long mufflers and if I go too tight the wheel won't spin ??

well bad news friends... i was on a nice ride around town and the engine just stopped.... it feels like the kill switch is just stuck on ... everything seems to have power with the key on...

Kill switch completes the running circuit. You say everything else 'seems' to work, so I suggest remove the fuel tank and that plug-in associated with switch is on top right side of frame. Check that plug-in with a volt meter with key on. If that doesn't show voltage, remove kill switch, take apart and clean contacts(careful of the teeny internal spring).

I assume you took apart THAT switch looking for poor contact surfaces or corroded connections before installation? If not, nothing gained.

Jackpot! Was just a fuse !! It didn't blow the fuse 8n the center, so it was hard to tell !

Glad you found the issue.....and it being a simple fix.

One thing for sure.......that 'electrikery' can be just that, and majority of time can be a quick fix.

The big question, WHY did the fuse blow???
You need to see what happened. Undersized fuse? Wire shorted while riding? Something getting warm and then shorting?
Until you know why, it WILL happen again! BTDT I didn't have the ballast resistor fully wrapped, and it shorted about 30 miles from home in the middle of a ride. it DID warn me, but I ignored it..
