I must tell you ... it has been a real pleasure watching your project progress from start to finish, and you've given us some very useful knowledge along the way.
And I just have one other thing to say about your results ...

I'm pleased you like the results, Marco. I think it's better than the last one because I had the frame done and a lot of chroming. Also, the exhaust is better.

Thanks Nate. I'm pleased to have kind of rescued this bike. It started off in a worse state than the last one but is actually a better job, I reckon.
I'm looking for another one but they are getting rarer here, unlike in the USA where you all seem able to get them easily and cheaply! There's a very, very tatty one on eBay which I've bid on but it's debatable whether it can be saved.......any I'm going to keep looking and see if anything comes up........ Fingers crossed....XS1100F 1980 European model. Standard. Dyna coils. Iridium plugs. XS750 final drive (sometimes). Micron fork brace. Progressive front springs. Geezer regulator/rectifier. Do all the European xs11s come with the rear turn signals mounted on the license plate? Here in the US the license plate mount was only used when you had hard bags since they cover up the original mount.Nathan

Well Done Sir!
That is a very well done restoration James.
It looks like it just came out onto the floor at the dealers showroom!
The bike you're bidding on appears to be mostly there, just a bit worse for wear than others. I'd bet it might be a challenge but one you'd be able to easily handle.79 SF & 80 LG MNS
