erratic idle

    yes, I used my morgan carbtune , bike warmed up, at normal idle speed of 1000 rpm. again, could an intake leak on only one cylinder cause the high idle?

      It can cause a "hunting idle" yes.

        thanks for the help with this. all 4 of the rubber intake manifolds are only a few years old, all 4 of the blind plugs on the vacuum spigots are new, I just replaced all of the rubber vacuum hoses. where else should I look for a leak?

            Did you used that crappy paper gasket that is supplied with the intake boots or dis you UAE a light coat of rtv?

            Those paper gaskets I've failed in the past.
