Couple pin holes here and there in all of them.

But I patched Em up. No rips or anything huge.

I'm sitting here reading EVERYTHING I can find about cold cylinders

Okay, when I Rev it up and hold my hand over the carb, it Sucks fuel up enough to smooth out, then the colortune shows rich, optimal, then nothing but spark.

Something is either REALLY clogged.... Or I just don't have compression.

I have yet to do that test honestly since I don't have a gauge handy at this moment.

But, if a ring was bad.... I'd be smoking up a storm I'd think.

Bingo - the pilot circuit in that carb is still plugged somewhere.

Without going back and reading through this entire post, are you sure the orifice in the bottom of the float bowl is clear? WILDKAT included this photo in a tip quite a while ago:

The tiny orifice (spooge hole) at the lower arrow supplies fuel to the tunnel at the upper arrow, which is where the brass pick-up feeds from. If there's no/not enough fuel flow hre, the pilot circuit won't work no matter how clean the rest of it is.

There's also a couple more photos this old thread

You know..... You got me on that one!

I don't think I ran the bowl in the ultrasonic. And I don't remember seeing that anywhere else.

Oh man! This could be it!

I took a break from working and instead I cleaned the fairing up, removed the cycle sound system in preparation for the new system.

Then took a photo of my three babies.

So! If I blow air or cleaner through the little brass pipe... I only get air or cleaner out of the little hole by the gasket mating surface. I can't feel air going anywhere else.

If I push air through the mix screw hole... It goes all over the place. But not out that brass pipe

I want to say that hole in the bowl and brass tube only feed the enrichment (choke) circuit.

When you are blowing air in the tube open the choke, see where the air goes.

You are correct... With the choke open... It comes out of the choke.

Now that I know where that goes....... Darn....

ITS FIXED. MY GOD IT RUNS SO SMOOTH!

Loading up a video right now of me flying down the road.

I have some wacky wiring to sort... The vetter fairing is making my brakes turn the turn signals on..... Weird.

But.... I think I know what it was... And it was so dumb...

After I removed it from the cleaner... I was checking out all the little parts. Really... Detail looking at them.

I noticed... The floats had this weird wear pattern on the front of them... It ends up... The float, was rubbing on the gasket closest to the rack.

MYSTERY FREAKING SOLVED. GAHHHHHHH. RAWRRRR. ::flexes muscles and instantly grows a handlebar mustache::

I was surprised how quiet the bike was. Gotta love the whine of that Cardan driveshaft. It sounds like an electric car. Love it! Congrats on fixing it and staying vigilant on the issue. Safe riding!

Depending on your valve clearances, you should be able to hear them fairly well without a helmet on, not having OEM headers.
