    Nice one, Bob. Have a good look at your old bearing after cleaning it and see if there any rough spots, or sloppiness or, heaven forbid, rollers falling out everywhere. You'll know the minute you clean it whether it is no good. Great that it arrived and a bit earlier than expected too!

        You're welcome, George. Two bearings will be in the mail to you in the next few hours. Approx 10 days to get to the USA and described as very low value gifts on the label ....keeps things simple!

                  Hi Folks

                  I received another five bearings this morning. This means the total available is now SIX

                  If anyone needs or wants one, please PM me soonest. As usual, first refusal to XSives and then I'll put any left over on eBay for non-members...

                      Excellent! They are coated in anti-rust but you might want to splurge some oil on them in the packaging if you're stashing them away......or pack them with grease, ready for use. You'll be pleased you have those, one day

                        Dropped the entire package into a ziplock bag with some 30 wt oil, should never rust!

                            I have four bearings left, folks. I've not found any others yet although that may change. If anyone wants one, please let me know....I want to buy some bits for my new project!!!

                                Just ordered a new rear wheel bearing....

                                Just in time for Christmas....I've ordered a new left rear wheel bearing for my 1980 XS1100LG...I don't need one ...yet.

                                I'm getting that warm, fuzzy feeling just to know that if and when I do need one, it will be in stock for immediate installation....
