Good point TC. I hope they arrive by mid week.

These needle valves arrived today and I just installed them. Vac test was perfect. There is now no leakage what so ever. So now I can set the floats and put this leaky needle valve issue aside hopefully once and for all. I will be ordering another set of these for my hope up bike.

I always advice folks not to use the washers on the new ones and opt for fuel thread tape instead. It will keep you from having harsh bends on the tabs.

I was actually curious as to whether I should use the metal washers that came with the new valves or the fiber type that are stock with the original valves. I opted to use the metal ones and didn't even have to adjust my float heights. They do not look like they will bind within they movement range.
