The brass washers and stainless head nuts are from Mike's XS, the carbs were painted a couple of years ago with Duplicolor METALCAST. The carb painting is a project in itself cause they have to come completley apart.

The engine is done with Rustoleum 2000degree Flat Aluminum #248904.

Sorry, I know your not the type to do that, and I didn't recognize the CCA there. I will say the engine looks really really good.

That's a good idea, Randy. With the motors, it isn't so much the weight as it is handholds to pick it up. I usually just grab them by the middle drive shaft and the cooling fins on the head.. but when the middle drive is off, it leaves me looking for a place to grab it by. I'll have to remember that strap method. My luck though.. my straps will look OK.. but I will find out just about the time I get it lifted up... that THAT is the strap my kid left out in the sun in the back of his truck...

I'm thinking that from waist level... a motor dropping on a foot WOULD leave a mark. lol.

The straps made it a piece of cake ( a helluva cake).You can't see the one in the front, but likewise, I ran it through the mounts. If anything, it made the lift even, which helps alot! And I doubled them up for security.

The motor in in the frame...Beer Break! LOL!

Wow randy nice job except i coulnd'nt see the first couple of pic's it just shows the photobucket image and it said it had moved or deleted was curious to see what your carbs looked like

so I won't have to lift it by myself
