    Thanks!

Well yesterday I spent a good 5 hours on the wiring, eliminating a good 10 feet of wire, and mounted my ignition box, HID ballast, relays, fuse box and regulator. I'm still only about halfway done....the goal is to make it all as hidden as possible. Wiring is fun...very fun.

I like what you did with the single rear shock. I am building a simple cafe bike out of an xs400. Sure love the looks of those triples.

Bike is all sandblasted and frame is almost done. Here is a google sketchup drawing of what it should (hopefully ) look like.

      Keep up the good work.

That bike looks sick. I saw your thread I will be following it for sure.

Are you going to be adding a monoshock? I think on your bike, if you cut down that rear triangle on the frame to make more space between the tire and seat, like on the side view of my bike, it would look sick. But, that's just my view on it.

I really dig the paintjob you have drawn out for it!

Starting her up just for you guys. I have on it my custom chambered muffler, although it didn't seem to change the exhaust tone as much as I thought it would......ha ha oh well!

It is NOT going right there.....it will be going up at an angle behind my foot peg. That was just temporarily.

I know the quality isnt all that great, but I will get a better video once the bike and exhaust is all done

Looks-and sounds- great! Can't wait to see it in paint!

Haha you noticed. Yes, it was. I only slipped it on there for the video, and to test the sound. It'll be secured when I am done.

Nice ride! Sounded sweeter that sweet on the video.

Hey, back to the battery... Let's say heat isn't an issue, another possible concern is the vibration that power cell is gonna get. Didn't see if you did anything to address that?

Hey- if it works who cares, eh?

Guess it's a bit past the point of putting it somewhere else, or do you have a back up plan?

I have some rubber isolators that will be used when mounting the bettery, hopefully it works!

Just need to rivet on the straps and get some wrap and the exhaust will be done.

Well I got the box under the seat done, pictures coming tomorrow. It houses all the remaining electronics, so it's all nice and hidden.

In the meantime, I made this awesome lamp, using a rotor, old shock, an xs 2nd gear and a driveshaft yoke

Got my plastic under seat box mounted. It holds the fuse box, regulator/rectifier, ignition switch, relays and all the wiring.

Now, I know it's not finished in the back, but I'm going to mount my license plate there so I haven't completed it yet.

I used 1/8" ABS plastic sheeting. This stuff is the ****. You can heat it with a heat gun and bend it, and it keeps its form. I'm going to use it up front, as a 'dashboard' for my gauges and on the sides on the windscreen.

That looks really clean man, I dig it. Where are you finding sheet ABS?

Thanks guys! And thanks for the Rep!

Well, I couldn't live with the the box under the seat not flush with the frame....so I re-fit it some. I think it looks tons better. I also shortened the exhaust a little

Also, you can see the CBR600 fighter in the works in the background that i'm helping a friend with

That looks pretty good -- nice and tidy! Did you heat the plastic to form the last part of the enclosure?
