            Pretty slick indeed!

Tank is in Primer, I started filling the backside of my tail with fiberglass, mounted my battery in a custom box and started on the wiring

Just a thought that perhaps you already considered, is that battery rated for the heat that it will see mounted right there on the engine? Do you have heat sink material around it of some type?

It is not going to get alot of air movement there, and it will see PLENTY of heat!! Hate to find out you got an acid bath while riding!!

I have some insulation that I'm going to wrap the battery box with.

Insulation keeps heat in though as well.

                            Hi dan,
Gawd, that's pretty! Not a machine for the overweight old farts but my son would fall in love with it.
Don't forget to install the fork brace, eh? XS forks are kinda flexy even before you trashcan the stock fender.
Um, what if you switch your tire allegiance to another mfr? Will that DUNLOP lettering come off easily?

Yeah I have a fork brace for it, I'll put it on here soon. I got it running yesterday, runs awesome! Only 3 kicks to start for the first time in over a year and a half.

The dunlop decals are just vinyl stickers, so they could just be peeled off. But, I will be eventually going to new inverted forks, chain drive and fatter rear tire, so....
