It does look good! I have a seat from the bay that I will be messing with soon. I am building a cafe bike for the Snap On dealer right now, and that is taking up most of my bike time at the moment, but I hope to get to that soon. I keep looking at all of you pics for the inspiration, though!

Ok, I got the carbs back in and everthing is ready....other than the tank, brake light and rear views.
I'm having a hell of a time with the tank liner. I put it in during a cold snap and it wouldn't set up. I ended up with thick, and thin spots and an over all crappy job. So now I'm removing the liner and starting over. It's a heck of a lot harder to get out than put in. I guess that holds true with alot of things.

Do you think I should put some clubman bars on there and ditch those buckhorns? How about a Maxim tank?

Ok it's finally done. I've put about 30 miles on it and it runs great. Like a new bike. It's the best one I've had yet.

Looks sharp, man! I think I would go with clubs, or at least drag bars if you don't want to be leaned too far forward. You would not believe the handling difference. But then, I am just not a fan of the rototilller handles

Really nice work, though. That thing looks clean like only you can do!

                      At least STD bars

I have to agree go with at least STD bars - they are an easy swap and feel good. Drag bars if all you ride is around town, but I'd want to lean back more and enjoy the scenery on that ride. Looks great.

Any time you want to get rid of that shiny 4 into 2 exhaust system for a banged-up 4 into 1, let me know...

That 4 into 2 will be on there until it rots and falls off. The buckhron bars, on the otherhand may not be around long. I'll give them a season and see. I've ripped them off of ever special I've ever owned. I always feel as though I want to set back and cruise, but it's never long until a set of clubmans or flat bars find there way on. I just like the way the the clubman bars look like they were made for the xs11.
