First I would like to say this was not all my effort. T.C. Did most of the artwork for the bike and supplied all the info need to get the permissions for Yamaha.

Cost will be determined when I get the final quote from the patch maker. I am guessing no more than $4.00 + shipping. Right now I am going to say only one per person. When I get the contract from Yamaha I will know better.

When I get the final price and the contract from Yamaha I will post all the details on ordering the patch.

79 & 81 xs

Was there a patch for the 79? If yes is it still available? My 81 was produced in hune of 80 so it also has turned 30, will one be done for it as well?

I had nothing to do with the 79 patch. I think T.C. might have info if they are available still. I will not be doing one for the 81. You might want to start a thread and see if people are interested.

Yamaha might limit how many can be produced like they did with the 79. To be fair I have to limit one per member right now. If I have left overs after the initial sale then I might be able to sell more than one per member.

Yes the first patch was for the standards. This is to commemorate the 30th anniversary for the 1980 XS1100 Special.

I have an '81, but I'll take a 30 year patch even if it is for an '80.

Good News!!

I received a e-mail today from Yamaha. The Contract should be in my hands by Monday 4/25/11. I will be ordering the patches very close to that day.

Once they are ordered and I get the sew out I will post a pic and pricing info.

The good news. Get ready!! I received the contract today. I signed it and sent it back. All that is left is for Yamaha to sign it. The contract should be ready and patches ordered by this Wednesday 4/27/11.

The bad news. The contract limits only 100 patches to be made. So right now there will only be one per member. If I don't have 100 members interested only then will there be more than one available.
