That has the wrong rotors. The 80 specials had the slotted rotors, only the standards were not slotted.

is pink and black an original paint scheme? if so, i think i have just the bike for the picture!!

just kidding, i actually have the paint almost done (just finding a time to do the top coat) but i had to tease...everything else is original, tho...

I think my bike is stock. I have changed the seat but still have the orig I could change it out for a photo if you think it meets the criteria. Here are a couple photos previously taken.

I sent Ozz this one a few days ago in email, didn't hear back from him??

Thanks to BNE/MadMaxim for loaning his pristine copy of this ad for me to scan/photo it for the site. I meant to add it to the 80SG photos, guess I didn't get around to it!

                      How about 1 of each?

I would buy one of each. Although I'm partial to the XS11 special.. That midnight special is one bad@ss looking bike

                              I like Round One

Seems like the round one has more definition but definitely going to be a great patch when you finish tweaking on it!

                                I vote for...

...the oval but that color reminds me of my Ford emblems on my F150. Is there an XS1100G Standard patch in the works also?

"I was thinking...we have the generic biker-esque black and gold patch for the group (which I love), and the macho maroon with the "1"...how about using the dark silver/light silver theme the 80 Standard has as a basis for the patch?

This scheme with a black and maroon border, black lettering in the oval and maybe some gold splashed in there accordingly?
1980 XS1100G "Dolly G" Full Dresser (with a coat of many colors )
                                1979 XS1100SF (stock-euro mods planned)
                                1984 XV700L Virago (to be hot-modded)
                                1983 XJ750MK Midnight Maxim (semi-restored DD)
                                1977 XS650D ( patiently awaiting resto)

Sometimes it takes a whole tank of gas before you can think straight.
