thoughts and prayers go out for a full recovery. unfortunately, finances are tight for me right now but I do have XS11 parts I could donate for the rebuilding of his bike or to be sold to cover bills - your choice.

please don't tell me that the kid with his arms crossed in the 2nd pic was the driver of the car..... body language indicates no remorse at all - hope he has insurance and hope he loses his license for good.

Couple things, the seat area looks way off to me like the top of the frame might be bent. Do hate the look of that wheel and such a nice tire to get hurt.

At least the car looks new enough that it would be financed and therfore should have full insurance. Is that the dufuss kid standing there with arms folded?

              Hey all,

If anyone can tell me where Ivan's bike is being held up at, I have a group of volunteers ready to start in fixing it. I have all the parts needed, and the place to do the work, all I need is to know when and were to go and get it. As for anything else his family needs, just let me know what I can do to help. Trbig has some great ideas, lets get the ball rolling as I am willing to help in any way I can. I'll even stop giving you so much sh#t about your whitewall! Get well soon big guy, you are in our prayers.

Godspeed Ivan, I like everyone of Tod's ideas. Financial help for his family may be the immediate need. Whoever gets something started let us know how to donate.

                          Russ,

As far as Ivan's bike, it is supposed to be at

                          McCurdy motor and wrecker service
                          935 E 4th Ave
                          Hutchinson, Kansas
                          (620) 663-2106

BUT.. with this being an insurance thing, you may need to wait a bit. I'm sure the insurance will total that old bike.. then maybe give him the option to re-buy it pretty cheap? Also.. not sure what the legalities are of just a non-owner coming to claim a vehicle.

As bad as we want to see it up and running again, this may be a sit and wait for just a bit.

As for anyone wanting to make donations... I would like to see someone close to Ivan get the proceeds so they can hand deliver it to him. Maybe payments through Paypal or a check in the mail. I hate to put you on the spot, but Lee.. are you up for that, or would you prefer not to?

                          Tod

Seems it doesn't matter what country we are in, the young drivers are still unable to grasp the fact that there are others on th road too. Chin up Ivan! you'll be fine, regards to your family from down under. BTW I'm impressed with the response from the XS1100 gang on site here Bless ya all.
