Ivan: Glad you are home. Sorry I didn't get over there on Saturday to help with the limb removals. I was stuck in Iowa finishing up a move. Got back late on Sunday. Great to have you out. Kim -

The problem is some fool would have to buy it then it could be used as evidence of the value of Ivan's bike. The best bet is to ream the insurance for policy maximum for the injuries and then sue for the rest.
Geezer
ivan and trainzz hold on to ur seat. i found that bike that was sooooooooo over priced on ebay. but that would be a shock.

I just found and read this thread. Glad you are recovering Ivan. Sounds like there is some light at the end of the tunnel. The kid that was driving (it is infact the kid standing there with his arms crossed) was in his sister's car, and that insurance, which was his mothers, is unlimited. If I understand correctly, Kansas law limits liability to $250,000. My attourney said he may not get all of it, but he will try. I replied that he gets paid a percentage, so take all he wants.
I am reasonably sure the kid was texting and that is why he wasn't paying attention. I saw him with a cell phone when I passed him, and again when he got out of the car. The police said they could not find a cell phone, so I imagine he passed it off to someone else.
Hope your attorney will dig up cell phone records. Whether there was a cell phone at the scene or not, cell phone accounts and records would tell the truth.
Hang in there.Leave a comment:

Just get yourself a powered wheelchair and a set of handlebars and some Xs11 badges and jut the road. Just to prove you can't keep a good Xser down. Get well soon!Leave a comment:

Great to hear your home brother, don't wory Bones heal in time. My leg break was in Feb and I was skiing yesterday. Just about froze my leg off when the pin got cold but it was great to be back on the boards. Havent been on the bike again yet, but thats mostly to do with the weather, it's winter here. Just relax and let the healin' happen, and bleed the suckers insurance dry

Jello and pudding pops....
Ivan,
Bike can be repaired with wrenches and metric socket set. Your bones however, will do their repair on their own time and with different tools.
It would help the process if you gave them what they need to do that job: calcium. Milk has some of it but the best source is jello. Yep. Ground horses hooves. Only drawback is you gotta use your hands and a spoon. As this would impede your playstation activities, I recommend pudding pops. Keep both hands on the controller.
Happiness is a grenade launcher with infinite ammo....

Ivan - four things to remember: Bones heal. Chicks dig scars. Pain is temporary. Glory is forever. If you can't ride for the next year, maybe fredintoon will come down and take you out in the sidecar
. Glad your back home.

Awesome news that your home!!! Take the time you need and let the idiots insurance take care of you and yours while you heal properly.
Heck, maybe we can make an XS11 PlayStation riding game where you get to chase down and anialate the little pissers car with a multitude of weaponry!!!Leave a comment:

Ivan,
Glad you are in your home..
Hurtin' at home bothers a person less than hurtin' in some rehab or a hospital.. Of course there is that Darvoset thing goin on there.
Take care.Leave a comment:

I wish I could swing by and give you my regards in person but getting out of town this time of year for more than a day is nearly impossible for me.
Take care, enjoy the meds and don't push yourself too soon... The hardest part is getting back on the bike. I waited to long and I lost some of my biking mojo...
