    Geez Tod...

we watch out for you at rallies ANYway...

Wow... the name calling in this post is kind of unwarranted... So... what? People can only ride what other people think they should ride? and only styled the way they think it should be styled? that's kind of one sided thinking....

Some of the bobbers I've seen are pretty dang cool looking...
Da-Bubble's bike is frikkin AWESOME... looks cool and sounds badass...

I can appreciate those who like to keep things all original... but I think the custom jobs are great too...

Well put kat. I agree with you on this one. It's my bike my money and my choice. Not tryen to be a dick just sayen. Mine will be a fat tired whitewall ape hangers and loud pipes. Because thats what i want to ride. If i want a stock plain bike i'd have bought a vespa or cushman or something. lol!

      (thats just my two cents)
Yes it's a damn nice bike, yes it's in REALLY good condition, yes it would be a shame to chop it, BUT damn how cool would it look with ape hangers?

          defining "porn"

          Hi Barbara,
the rule is, if the erotically posed human figure is behind or on the bike, it's a bike picture. If the person is in front of the machine, it's "porn" At least the lady in the photo is a real human being rather than the usual poster girl for anorexia. And notice how carefully the lady's leg is hiding the solid strut that the bike's builder has put in place of the rear shock? Just so folks who think doing that is REALLY stupid don't get offended.

            Definition of porn

            Hi Fred. How are you?

Thank you so much for clarifying that better for us. And thanks for agreeing with me. Since they were definitely hanging over the FRONT of the motorcycle - must be porn!!!!

"then see some guy drop a load of bills down on a brand new "custom", factory built by OCC and the like, just to ride once or twice a year."

Hey, don't dis these guys. This is where I get my almost new bikes, 20 years later!
Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

                Hi Barb,
it's more of a guideline than a rule and anyway, who's agreeing with you?
Look again, the lady's empennage is behind the trophy, the trophy is perched on her upper thigh and her knee is hooked over the seat. That puts the offending items behind the bike centerline and therefore OK for display.
OTOH, the builder's decision to paint the bike frame nipple pink puts a whole Freudian twist on the entire display.

                  Hi again

Aha, There again, it would be like an opinion, it would depend on your view of things. True, from a frontal view from which the picture was taken, they may not look like they cross that important centerline. But if you looked from the side or back they would most likely look like they were falling over that line.LOL Just pickin at you Fred. I can't believe you thought I thought you agreed with me.!!! Get real~! What I didn't understand was your use of the word stupid in your post back to me and in other post I have read of yours. And like me, other people who have opinions different from yours, do not consider ourselves stupid because we view things differently from you. That whole porn thing was just to throw ya'll off. I could feel to much testosterone building up LOL There is never a need for harsh words to any one else on the forum. Maybe ya'll need a few more ladies to balance it up a little. Now lets play like good little boys and girls!! LOL

Build whatever you want to. It's your bike and only your opinion counts anyways. Just thought I would show you some pictures of what others have done to there bikes to give you some ideas. So go chop up as many good frames as you want to practice on! There is a free XS11 frame in Celina TX I could pickup and start chopping on for you!

                      Stupidity

                      Hi Barb,
"stupid" describes those who would take actions that will harm themselves. Like deepfrying wet fish while naked.
Or removing the front brakes & rear suspension from a 90HP motorcycle. And then riding it.
A motorcycle built to be a work of art can be tricked out to please the artist's aesthetic sense no matter what parts are missing from it and good fortune to them as builds 'em. OTOH, a motorcycle that you fling the soft bags over and head off to the coast on had better have brakes, suspension, reasonable fuel capacity and good ergonomics.

                          Hi mstic,
yeah, but that bike is more properly a "custom" It's been modified so a very short person can ride it. You will note it has both brakes and rear suspension and no reason that it couldn't be fitted with a front fender.

I donno, he doesn't appear to be any smaller than any of the other people in the video? That leads me to believe although he isn't a big guy, he's of medium build...
