They sent the image to their art dept, but possibly sent the wrong one, because the one they sent me for approval was NOT what I had sent. Rob, XS79sf had assisted me behind the scenes a few months ago, and had sent them one version, and I think the person got them mixed up!? SO...I responded with another copy of the finalized design, and still waiting to hear from them, due to the weekend/holiday....a delay of course.
When I receive the finalized version and approve it, then they will make a test patch, and send me a photo of IT, and I can then post it as proof of the progress. Then will just be a few weeks after that for the production run and shipping.
I'll let you see the final version to see what color it is!

I found out why they sent the image WITHOUT the XS Eleven large logo/ tuning forks, or any of the Yamaha names on the patch. They were editted out because of concerns about copyright infringement!!!
SO....I found the contact info for Yamaha USA....after calling Yamaha JAPAN and had them show me where on the Yamaha USA site the contact info was!!
Then got thru to the Licensing Dept, told them about what was needed and why, and they sent me an application form for permission for use of Logos and such, filled it out along with the contact info for the Patch Making company, and just yesterday, received the Final Design WITH ALL of the XS Eleven and Tuning forks and Yamaha names INTACT!!! Apparently Yamaha provided the copyright permissions to the patchmaker!
So, now just a few weeks for production, I'll post a copy of the image/photo they send of the actual TEST PATCH they will make first, just to let you all see what the REAL patch will look like!
Thanks for your patience!

TC... Thanks for the update.I see only by the poll results that Yellow edged out White by one vote...can we assume that means they'll be yellow? There has been no mention of which color you went with...or is it still open?

Here's a shot of the test sewout of the patch, minus the fancy black merrowed black border! Remember, this is a WOVEN patch, so it won't be as 3-D as a regular embroidered patch, but I think you can agree that the DETAIL is well worth it!!
And, the YELLOW Background isn't so hard on the eyes afterall!!
