I put in a full can onto the cylinders . About half a quart . Thats how much my oil has risen . Thats quite a bit more than is recommended ( about 1/2 to 1 ounce) . So my car takes about 4+ quarts of oil ...
I hope I dont do engine damage if I drive it gently a couple of miles

Kool - I'll change the oil myself where it sits . I think I can still run it a bit standing still with the thin oil to clean the crankcase .
What do you think ?

With advice from a friend ,I took out the plugs cranked the engine with a rag over the holes until I had pressure . There was quite a bit of Seafoam still in one cylinder especially. It made a bit of a mess but didnt want to bend any parts if the volume of liquid in the cylinder exceeded the compressable limit . I then replaced the plugs and it started right up - but smokey!!! It was so bad I idled the car up the street as my neighbours were beginning to wonder. After 10 or so minutes I idled it back to the garage . At this point it didnt sound too lubricated . I changed the oil and filter.
It runs better ,less vibration and more zip . Remains to be seen if it stops burning oil .
