    1979 XS1100SF "Old Man" bought by my Dad brand new in 79, customized in 80 with Vetter, Standard tank, and touring seat. I inherited in 02 when Dad passed. Been riding it since 09. No resto, bike is a survivor...

    2007 RoadStar 1700 Midnight Silverado "The Black Pearl" Cobra Slash-downs, K&N filter. More mods to come

            HEY IT WORKED!!!!
            I'm waiting for this 79 1100SF (will be my 6th 1100 I've owned including a new 79 SF and 2 XJ1100s)
            to be transported from Redding CAL to Central Tejas...last month I got a 84 V65 Sabre outta Cal
            and back in May a 65 Honda 305 Dream outta Phoenix
            should be here by the 27th of Jan...I hope, I hope, I hope

            • These are my two bikes. The Honda is very very fun to ride. We will see how the XS11 is once we get her running again.

              • I think you'll find the in line 4 a lot quicker than the V twin and with the suspension working properly and good tires that XS will handle better than you ever expected.

                It WILL do things your not comfortable doing. At least until you get used to it.

                  • Here's mine! 1980 xs11SG mostly original except for pipes and cosmetic's. Vintage Shoei FM-2 fairing and Kerker turnout exaust(not pictured). Also has European style hadlebars.

                              • 1982 XJ, no name yet. 15,000 miles. New carb rebuild, new seat, new tires, polished covers, and a hungry to ride owner.[IMG][/IMG]
                                "Galaxy" 1982 XJ1100J, 1983 XV handlebars, new fusebox, homemade SS wind screen and SS muffler heat shields, homemade grab bar extension and luggage rack. XS750 140 mph speedo, '81 Venture oil cooler, V-Max ACCT, Yahman YICS Eliminator, 1st and 2nd gear Dremel fix.
