    Wow, that looks nice Gene. Is the paint black with a blue tint from the sky or is it blue tinted paint?

      .. i'm not sure, the bike belongs to someone in Germany. i have the pic saved to my pictures just cause it looks so good.

                      LOL... It has a battery in it still... but that's about it. If you look close on the floor... I drained the oil into the plastic tub, then was unscrewing the filter housing when it went PLUNK.. SPLASH! Doused me and everything within several feet. To the right you see my old YZ250. I moved it around out of the way, and it is LIGHTER than my XJ is without the motor! lol. If this new motor screws up... anyone ever hooked a 2 stroke motor to an XJ?? lol.

                          Looks good without the fender. What rubber are you running on the back. I like the tread pattern.

                            yes old plate, i want to keep them.
                            bought the bike from the original owners this past spring and had to triple clean the carbs to get it right, when through the whole bike, brakes, forks, carbs, fuse block from topcat,reservelighting removal, shine... matter of fact it was full dress,luckily the motor and tran is tight.

                              they were on the bike dunlop elite g/t what ever that means they are old, but sure hate to replace them lots on meat on them...
